IT'S THE ONE WEEK HOLS NOW!!! YEAH!!!!! wow.. my last update was on 3 july :S lots has happened since then.. and since i have nothing to do now.. i shall just update briefly about what life has been like since then.. hahaa.. :D
right.. so first of all was the common tests.. din do well for it :S apparently most people didn't do very good too.. i wonder why.. maybe that 1 extra week killed the studying mood or something :S
then came the parties.. :D not forgetting mine.. it was FUN!!!!! have to thank my friends for coming early to help me set up the place :) and the wonderful presents.. :D and to thank everyone for coming down to celebrate.. without you guys, it would not have been so enjoyable.. so happening :D big big thank you!!! :)
after which, was the napfa test :S it was horrible.. i was doing pretty good for the 5 stations (all A except for standing broad jump) and then came the 2.4km.. ahhh!!! flunked that.. it was depressing.. since i was aiming for a gold.. all the effort gone down the drain.. sigh~~ if i can, i'd probably attempt it again.. :D and hopefully be able to train for it beforehand as well..
projects projects projects followed soon after.. resulting in me having no time to blog at all :S or maybe, even resulting in me forgetting that i have a blog even.. hahaa.. but who reads it anyway :S
then came the exams.. which ended just last thursday, 3 sep.. no more exams in poly!!! whee~~~ had an attachment briefing after the paper.. it was horrendous.. 12.30-1.30pm was the paper.. not allowed to leave early, even if you finish the paper early :S by the time paper was collected.. 1.40pm or so.. people needed to head to the toilet etc... and then no time for lunch, there was the briefing.. 2-6pm.. ahhh!!!!! oh well.. managed to survive in the end.. hahaa..
4 sep, the day after exams.. met up with doro, valli, carrie, ben, zr, weidong.. go kbox.. yippee.. it was fun :D had dinner out before returning home :) great day!!
5 sep, went to the library.. been ages since i found time to read.. so since i've finally found the time.. i was more than glad to go get some books to read.. borrowed 5 books :) had dinner out before returning home and starting on the books.. ah.. just love reading.. by sunday, i finished 1 book.. started the 2nd book on monday, finished it on tues :) started the 3rd book on wednesday, finished it on wednesday :D and now i'm onto the 4th book.. hahaa.. by right, the books were supposed to last me into attachment, so that i have something to do on the way to work and home :S doubt it'll last now.. hahaa.. but i find great enjoyment.. what type of books do i like? the detective, mystery types, with a dash of romance.. so far, from those that i've borrowed and read, i like the book SPY CANDY by Gina Robinson.. although the ending was pretty much predictable.. and the crook was expected (maybe from my too much of reading detective stories).. but i pretty much like the concept of it.. :D alright.. enough about the books..
yesterday, i met up with my NDP R2 friends for dinner :D it was a delight to meet them again, although more than half the time when we first met, all marjuk could say was "i'm hungry".. :S but catching up with the girls was FUN!! returned home late.. got nagged by my mum :( sigh~~ doubt i'd be having anymore meet ups for this one week hols.. although i wanted to head to sentosa or something :S hahaa..
next week, would be a very tiring and scary week.. why so? cos i'd be starting my attachment.. i don't know what to expect there.. the people, the environment, and what people expect of me.. i'm so nervous.. and excited at the same time.. my job attachment is for 6 months.. at the National Cancer Centre :) together with doro, in the same lab of clinical pharmacology every morning, i'd have to get up at 5.30 to prepare.. so as to be able to leave house at 6.30 to take the bus all the way down to outram for work.. 1 1/2 hours bus ride :S gosh.. it's just like going to school.. hope all will turn out well there..
shall update again when i can find the time.. and when i have something to blog about ba.. hahaa.. probably when my attachment starts.. when life becomes more happening (hopefully) hahaa.. till then :D
